Jenzabar Sets New Performance Record
Q2 2005 Continues Company’s Momentum with New Sales, Expanded Relationships and Product Innovation
Cambridge, MA — September 8, 2005 — Jenzabar, Inc., the pioneer of Total Campus Management (TCM) solutions for higher education, recognized Q2 2005 as its most successful quarter ever. The company’s record-setting quarter included new clients and expanded relationships with existing clients that contracted for solutions spanning the range of Jenzabar’s offerings. Enhancements to Jenzabar’s ERP systems and widespread adoption of Jenzabar’s Internet Campus Solution (JICS) fueled the company’s continuing growth and increasing market penetration. New product introductions of Jenzabar’s Non-Traditional System (NTS) and IR Touchstone and the development of Jenzabar’s Strategic Consulting practice also helped drive the company’s ongoing success. Key industry analysts have corroborated the positive impact of this success in a shifting marketplace.
Jenzabar welcomed St. Anselm College and the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (WAICU) as new clients. In both of these situations Jenzabar was selected as the most compelling provider in a competitive selection process. Many longstanding Jenzabar clients initiated conversions from older platforms to the company’s flagship Jenzabar CX and Jenzabar EX ERP systems, and others added new functionality to their existing systems. Additionally, Jenzabar tribal college clients Salish Kootenai College, Sinte Gleske University and Turtle Mountain Community College, have formed a partnership around the selection of Jenzabar’s Internet Campus Solution for use by all three institutions. Jenzabar’s partnerships have borne fruit as well, with client contracts for both Feith Systems and Software’s document imaging software and ePortaro’s electronic portfolio system as complements to Jenzabar’s ERP and portal solutions.
“Jenzabar’s second quarter accomplishments show that we are delivering on the commitment we made to the marketplace when we launched our Total Campus Management framework three years ago,” said Robert A. Maginn, Chairman and CEO of Jenzabar, Inc. “The market is responding to this, as we have emerged as the vendor of choice in several highly competitive situations. In an industry that values integrity, stability and follow-through Jenzabar is the best choice as a technology partner for institutions of higher education.”
Jenzabar’s new products and ongoing product enhancements underscore the company’s track record as the market innovator and technology leader. The release of Jenzabar’s Non-Traditional System, designed to manage term-independent course offerings, has been highly anticipated, with several institutions participating in its development. Jenzabar also has unveiled its IR Touchstone institutional research product.
The success of Jenzabar’s portal and ERP products is supported by its strategic consulting services, advising clients on the people and process implications of implementing pervasive technologies campus-wide. These services position Jenzabar as a true value-added partner with
its clients, taking the company beyond the role of a basic technology vendor by addressing the broadening range of service needs in the marketplace.
Jenzabar’s second quarter also was marked by its highly successful users’ conference and the publication of favorable commentary by key industry analysts. Recognizing the company’s increasing momentum, industry analysts from Eduventures, IDC and Datamonitor published complimentary analyses of Jenzabar and Jenzabar clients in recent reports on technology solutions for higher education. Eduventures’ analysts also participated in the highly successful Jenzabar Annual Meeting (JAM) held in June.
“Jenzabar’s Constituent Relationship Modules (CRMs), which range from first contact with a prospective student to interactions with alumni, provide the company with an interesting and complete student life-cycle management approach that we have not seen in other application providers,” noted IDC industry analyst Shawn McCarthy in a recent report. “With over 140 client institutions employing end-to-end installations, Jenzabar’s solutions demonstrate the power of an integrated life-cycle management approach.”
“Our leadership in technology solutions for higher education is becoming increasingly recognized by the industry as visionary, with our comprehensive value-driven and service-oriented approach to the needs of colleges, universities and specialty schools of every size and type,” continued Maginn. “The momentum we’ve generated will carry forward with strengthened client relationships, the addition of new clients and continuing innovation in our products and services.”
